On-site technical mentoring support for electrical workers
This program provides subsidised on-site or online technical mentoring and support for electrical workers based in Victoria, delivered by the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) and funded by Solar Victoria.
Mentoring covers topics such as load management, switchboard upgrades and inspections, solar and battery installations, electric vehicle chargers, and commercial and industrial solar, and is available as individual or small-group sessions (maximum four participants).
This mentoring is open to electricians and licensed electrical inspectors (LEIs) working in Victoria.
You do not need to be an authorised installer in the Solar Homes Program to be eligible for technical mentoring.
Solar Homes Program participants may be required to undertake technical mentoring on a full fee-for-service basis as part of audit and compliance enforcement activities.
The program may also approve others to undertake technical mentoring.
