Disaster assistance for small businesses in affected NT regions
The Small Business Recovery Assistance Grant provides up to $10,000 to Northern Territory small businesses affected by the Top End and Big Rivers Region severe weather and floods in March 2026.
Funding supports clean-up, repairs, reinstatement and essential measures to help impacted businesses resume operations.
Applicants must be small businesses impacted by the Top End and Big Rivers Region severe weather and floods in March 2026 and located in the local government areas of Katherine, Coomalie, Litchfield, Roper Gulf, Victoria Daly, West Daly, West Arnhem, Belyuen or Wagait, or the unincorporated areas of Greater Darwin, Cox-Daly and Marraki-Douglas Daly.
Small businesses must have operated in the defined disaster area continuously up to and throughout the eligible disaster and intend to continue operating in the same location or local government area; be a Territory enterprise; have incurred direct damage to their premises and/or tools of trade; employ fewer than 20 full-time equivalent staff; and not already have received grant funding from another source for the same purpose.
