Course for TAS businesses beginning their exporting journey
A short course and mentoring program providing Tasmanian businesses with information and support to start or expand domestic exports of goods or services to the Australian mainland.
The program includes four modules with pre-recorded videos, downloadable fact sheets, group discussions, quizzes and surveys, plus two 30-minute individual mentoring sessions with experienced export advisors.
To be eligible, applicants must:
have an Australian business number (ABN)
be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
be headquartered in Tasmania or be able to demonstrate a significant contribution to the Tasmanian economy
have annual sales turnover of at least $75,000
be financially viable, not under external administration, or appointed a liquidator, wound up, dissolved or trading insolvent
be currently selling products or services within Tasmania and looking to sell products or services to mainland Australia or can demonstrate export readiness.
