Funding for NSW businesses to install new submeters
Overview
Provides grants to help NSW businesses install and commission permanent energy submeters, including associated hardware and software integration for energy monitoring.
Funding supports purchase, installation and commissioning to improve energy measurement and performance insights.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible you must:
- have a current Australian Business Number (ABN) and be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- deliver your submetering project at a NSW site address
- spend a minimum of $200,000 annually on energy bills at your business site, or demonstrate an equivalent annual on-site energy use of at least 3,600 gigajoules (GJ) (evidence must be the most recent available and no more than 18 months old at time of application)
- be the energy bill payer and have operational control of the site, with authority to install submetering and act on the insights it provides (if not the site owner, you must have authorisation from the owner and provide evidence)
- have valid itemised quotes detailing individual costs for submeters and activities (lump-sum quotes will not be considered)
