Provides matched funding to WA manufacturing businesses for pre-production activities that are precursors to manufacturing battery technologies.
Eligible activities explicitly include selected late-stage feasibility studies, prototype development, and testing and accreditation.
Funding is targeted to support local manufacture of residential batteries, battery components, and industrial/commercial battery applications.
WA manufacturing businesses operating within the battery energy storage supply chain.
Projects must involve pre-production activities in the manufacture of battery technologies and fall into one of the three categories:
- selected, late-stage feasibility studies
- prototype development
- testing and accreditation
