GO8595: Australian Political Parties for Democracy Program

The APPDP grant program spans three financial years from 2026-27 to 2028-29.

Its main objective is to assist with the development of democratic political party systems in other countries.

Applicants must satisfy all eligibility criteria.

The Government has determined that only the Australian Labor Party (ABN 38 318 251 221), the Liberal Party of Australia (ABN 15 217 882 958, including on behalf of The Nationals, ABN 68 075 415 882), and the Australian Greens (ABN 98 738 022 715) are eligible to apply.

Applicants seeking funding for all three financial-year tranches must submit a separate application for each tranche, setting out the proposed activities and requested funding for that tranche.
