Grants to install Community Batteries

Provides grants to selected organisations to install, connect and operate community batteries in eligible locations to store excess household solar energy, reduce grid pressure, lower electricity bills and emissions.

Specific organisations listed in the grant opportunity guidelines.

Only one community battery can be installed in each location and the Government has identified specific organisations to deliver each community battery.

Eligible organisations and associated locations can be found in the grant opportunity guidelines.

Eligible organisations will be contacted and invited to submit an application.
