Co‑funding for Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Processing businesses to integrate into domestic and international value chains, develop new products and manufacturing processes, and adopt standards and knowledge sharing.
Grants are awarded to support strategic projects that grow manufacturing activity and bring commercial outcomes to new and existing markets.
To be eligible you must:
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be non-tax-exempt
- be registered for the goods and services tax (GST)
You must be an entity incorporated in Australia, including start-ups and a trading corporation.
Your trading activities must form a sufficiently significant proportion of the corporation’s overall activities as to merit it being described as a trading corporation; or are a substantial and not merely peripheral activity of the corporation.
Your project must align with one of the National Manufacturing Priorities and have a minimum of $2 million in eligible project expenditure.
Your application must show evidence that your project is supported by your board (or Chief Executive Officer or equivalent if there is no board) and that you can meet the costs of the project not covered by the grant funding.
You can apply for a grant between $1 million and $20 million.
Your grant funding must not exceed 50% of your total eligible project expenditure.
Approved activities determine your eligible project expenditure.
