Mentoring support for VIC small business owners in selected industry sectors
Overview
The Business Skills Mentoring Program provides mentoring support to Victorian small businesses to help them invest, expand and innovate.
Up to 1,000 eligible small business owners will receive three one-hour mentoring sessions to be used within three months, with mentors offering advice on topics such as marketing, finance, strategic planning, digitalisation and change management.
Eligibility Criteria
The Business Skills Mentoring program is for owners of existing Victorian-based small businesses.
To be eligible, you must:
- own a Victorian-registered small business
- have 20 or fewer employees
- have held an active ABN continuously from 1 December 2024
- be registered for GST
- operate in one of 6 defined industry sectors (advanced manufacturing and defence; agribusiness; circular economy; digital technologies; health technologies and medical research; regional tourism)
