GO8060: Assistance Grants – Access to Industry Priority Uses of Agvet Chemicals 2025-26 (Round 11)

The Australian Government is inviting Rural Research and Development Corporations (RDCs) to apply for eligible grant activities under the Assistance Grants – Access to Industry Priority Uses of Agvet Chemicals 2025–26 grants program (the program).

The aim of the program is to increase the number of safe, appropriate and efficacious uses of new and existing agricultural and veterinary (agvet) chemical products available in the Australian market.

This aligns with the Australian Government’s responsibility to develop and implement policies and programs to increase the competitiveness, profitability and sustainability of Australia's agricultural, fisheries, and forestry industries.

A cross-industry collaborative forum has been established under the grant program to identify priority minor uses of agvet chemicals for Australian farmers.

These priorities will guide the allocation of the $3.5 million (GST exclusive) funding available as part of this grant opportunity in the 2025–26 financial year.

To be eligible an applicant must be one of the specific Research and Development Corporations listed in Table 3 of the guidelines (Australian Pork Limited; Dairy Australia Limited; Fisheries Research and Development Corporation; Grains Research and Development Corporation; Horticulture Innovation Australia Limited; Rural Industries Research & Development Corporation) and must have received an invitation to apply through GrantConnect.

The grant activity must be a use identified by the Priority Setting Forum and must seek to submit an application to the APVMA for either a permit use or a new label use.

Applicants must address all eligibility and assessment criteria and attach the mandatory project budget template.

Applicants must not receive funding from another government source for the same purpose.
