GO8332: Building Early Education Fund – Supplemental Operational Funding Grant Opportunity

The purpose of Supplemental Operational Funding Grant opportunity is to provide operational funding to ensure centres funded under the Building Fund can operate sustainably.

Grant funding may include funding to support the childcare service prior to opening and/or operational funding support once operating

To be eligible you must be a Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approved provider, or commit to obtaining provider approval under National Law and Family Assistance Law, and be an organisation that has an in-progress application for a Building Fund Grant or has previously been successful in applying for a Building Fund Grant.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the need for additional establishment and/or operational funding to ensure service viability or deliver a viable new service in an area of need.

The department will not provide a grant if you receive funding from another government source for identical activities unless formal co-contribution arrangements are in place.
