GO8331: Building Early Education Fund – Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) Grant Opportunity
The purpose of the ACCO Grant Round is to provide capital grants to high-quality not-for-profit ACCOs to undertake construction for the delivery of new or expanded Centre-Based Day Care (CBDC) services.
Organisations will be invited to apply based on consultation with First Nations partners and peak bodies.
To be eligible an organisation must have received an invitation to apply from the Department of Education; have an Australian Business Number (ABN); be registered for GST; have an account with an Australian financial institution; be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Community-Controlled Organisation (incorporated and not-for-profit; controlled and operated by Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people; connected to the community or communities in which they deliver services; governed by a majority Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander governing body); either currently hold, or commit to obtaining, provider approval under the Education and Care National Law and approval under Family Assistance Law (CCS); and not be ineligible under the exclusions in section 4.2.
Applications must be submitted within 12 weeks of invitation (or an alternative timeframe agreed by the department).
