Funding to support regional and remote airports meet the requirements of the Screener Accreditation Scheme

Provides funding to support eligible regional and remote airports to meet the requirements of the Screener Accreditation Scheme.

Grants fund education, training and testing for screening officers and air cargo examination officers and contribute to airport compliance with the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004.

Funding is transitional and will end in 2024.

To be eligible you must have been invited to apply.

You will need to be: an eligible regional or remote airport as identified by The Department of Home Affairs, or an entity formally authorised by the eligible airport.

Applications are only accepted if you can provide invoice(s) demonstrating proof of delivery and payment for eligible activities (invoices must have been paid between 1 July and 30 May in the financial year of your application) and if you have not received the maximum $25,000 in the financial year of your application.

If you have not been invited to apply, you are not considered eligible.
