Funding for event organisers in regional NSW
Overview
Seed funding for event organisers to support their first or second year of activity in regional NSW, intended to help establish events as drivers of visitation through costs such as venue hire, temporary infrastructure, marketing, consultancies, brand design and attendee research.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- be the event owner (own the rights to the event and hold the relevant approvals at the time of application and contract)
- be financially solvent or be financially viable and able to demonstrate likelihood to remain so over the funding period
- have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
- be a sole trader, company, partnership, unincorporated and incorporated associations, or company trust entity
- provide a certificate of currency for at least $20 million public liability insurance, or evidence of ability to secure this before entering into a funding agreement
- be a legal entity (not a business name)
The event must be held for the first or second time between 1 July 2026 and 30 June 2027 and must be located in one of the seven Destination Networks in regional NSW.
