Funding for Recycling and Clean Energy businesses who are developing new products and manufacturing processes
Co‑funding for Australian recycling and clean energy manufacturing projects to support integration into domestic and international value chains, adoption of product standards, and knowledge sharing.
Grants support capital and related activities to scale production, enter new markets and improve competitiveness.
To be eligible you must:
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be non-tax-exempt
- be registered for the goods and services tax (GST)
- be an entity incorporated in Australia (including start-ups and a trading corporation)
Trading activities must form a sufficiently significant proportion of the corporation’s overall activities or be a substantial and not merely peripheral activity of the corporation.
Your project must align with one of the National Manufacturing Priorities and have a minimum of $2 million in eligible project expenditure.
Your application must show evidence that your project is supported by your board (or Chief Executive Officer or equivalent if there is no board) and that you can meet the costs of the project not covered by the grant funding.
Approved activities determine eligible project expenditure.
You can apply for grant funding between $1 million and $20 million and grant funding must not exceed 50% of your total eligible project expenditure.
