Low interest loans for disaster affected NSW primary producers
Overview
Low interest concessional loans for NSW primary producers directly affected by a declared natural disaster to support short-term working capital and repair or replacement of damaged property and improvements not covered by insurance.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, you must:
- be a primary producer
- derive at least 50% of your income from the primary production enterprise
- hold a current Australian Business Number (ABN)
- contribute a part of your labour to the primary production enterprise
- have a right or interest in a primary production enterprise (including lessees) located in the defined disaster area for the event that has suffered direct damage as a result of the declared natural disaster
- demonstrate the long-term viability of your farm and the ability to repay the loan
- provide security for the loan
Applications may be made after the declaration of an eligible disaster.
Applications must be lodged by the relevant close date listed for your LGA on the Declarations page.
