Overview
Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) provides invoice finance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-owned businesses, offering revolving cash flow based on the value of credit sales or major contracts to fund working capital needs such as wages, inventory, raw materials and transport.
Eligibility Criteria
For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-owned businesses.
Best suited to established businesses with:
- at least 50% Indigenous ownership
- a track record of sound performance with a minimum of 2 years profitable trading
- minimum sales of $500,000 per annum
- businesses that experience seasonal sales
- businesses that are growing rapidly
- businesses that are smaller or under-capitalised
- businesses that operate in markets where debtor terms exceed supplier terms
- and businesses whose owners lack the security to access bank finance
Invoice finance provides revolving cash flow aligned to the business’s cash flow cycle, contract or sales activity.
