Helping build commercial scale carbon capture, use and storage assets and shared hub infrastructure

Grants to support the design and construction of shared carbon capture, use and storage (CCUS) hub infrastructure between multiple co-located emitters and viable CO2 storage sites, including activities from geological surveys and engineering to construction, commissioning and monitoring.

If you are a trading corporation, your trading activities must form a sufficiently significant proportion of the corporation’s overall activities or be a substantial (not merely peripheral) activity of the corporation.

Joint applications are acceptable provided there is a lead organisation who is the main driver of the project and is eligible.

Your project must be located in Australia and completed by 2031-04-30.

Your application must show a minimum of $10,000,000 in eligible project expenditure.

You must provide evidence from your board (or CEO or equivalent) that the project is supported, can be completed and you can meet project costs not covered by the grant; evidence of how you will provide your share of project costs such as an accountant declaration; if you are a Foreign Corporation, evidence that you and/or your sub-contractors are not on the DFAT Consolidated List; and agreement by all project partners with a letter of intent if forming a consortium.
