Pre-employment project opportunities to recruit new staff

Overview

The Launch into Work program supports businesses to deliver co-designed pre-employment projects that prepare eligible individuals for specific entry-level roles.

Projects include tailored training, practical workplace activities and participant mentoring, and are designed so suitable participants who complete the project can be offered employment.

Eligibility Criteria

Businesses with entry level job opportunities willing to trial a new way of recruiting.

Projects must prepare individuals for specific entry-level roles (no degree or higher-level vocational qualification required).

Participants: anyone aged 18 years or over who are in Workforce Australia Services or Transition to Work.

All Launch into Work projects must include:

  • training tailored to the positions
  • practical activities in the workplace
  • participant mentoring
  • and employment for suitable individuals who successfully complete a pre-employment project
