GO8121: Driving the Nation
The Driving the Nation Program is continuously open for applications that contribute to the Program Objectives: Overcome barriers to accelerate uptake of ZEVs.
Optimise the integration of BEVs into the grid.
Demonstrate new technology, use cases and business models for ZEVs.
Increase skills, capacity and knowledge relevant to ZEV technologies.
In addition, projects are required to align with one or more of the Driving the Nation Focus Areas.
The current Focus Areas are Trucks, Charging, V2G and Innovation: Focus Area 1: Demonstration and deployment of heavy BEVs Focus Area 2: Deployment of heavy BEV charging solutions Focus Area 3: V2G and Innovation.
Applicants must hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be one of:
- an Australian entity incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)
- a Commonwealth entity prescribed as a government business enterprise
- an Australian State or Territory owned corporation or its subsidiary
- a Government (State or Federal) Statutory Corporation
- or an Australian local government/council or an Australian organisation purposed with representing/supporting local governments or councils
Projects must primarily take place in Australia and involve a Renewable Energy Technology that can contribute to the Program Objectives.
Applicants must agree to enter a Funding Agreement and publicly share Project knowledge, warrant ownership/access/use of required intellectual property, declare steps to address modern slavery risks and (if applicable) comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2018, and comply with various warrants and disclosures (including workplace gender equality compliance, anti-terrorism designated lists, compliance with Australian sanctions laws, disclosure of legal proceedings/investigations, and not being on the National Redress Scheme list of institutions that have not joined).
Applicants must provide required EOI/Full Application information and supporting evidence as specified in the Guidelines.
