GO8502: Support at Home Thin Markets 2026-27 (Round 3)

The Support at Home Thin Markets 2026-27 (Round 3) Grant Opportunity provides flexible funding to eligible Support at Home providers that deliver aged care services in thin markets.

This grant opportunity is the third funding round under the Support at Home Thin Markets Grant program.

Providers that received funding in Round 1 (GO7600) and/or Round 2 (GO7988) may also apply in Round 3.

Providers that deliver rural and remote services in Modified Monash areas 3 to 7, or that deliver specialised services in any region, may be eligible to apply.

This grant opportunity has two streams: • Stream One: Rural, remote and specialised services • Stream Two: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander services.

Providers may apply for either Stream One OR Stream Two.

Some grant applicants may require a valid Specialisation Verification for aged care services.

As gathering the necessary documents can be time consuming, we encourage applicants to plan ahead.

Applicants under either stream must currently deliver Support at Home services to Support at Home participants; be registered under the Aged Care Act 2024 in Registration Category 4, including delivery of care management; have an ABN matching their Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission registration; be registered for GST and hold an account with an Australian financial institution; and be an eligible entity type.

Eligible entity types are Indigenous Corporations, companies, Commonwealth entities or statutory authorities, state or territory entities or statutory authorities, local governments, cooperatives, incorporated or unincorporated associations, statutory entities, partnerships and sole traders.

Trustees applying for a trust must themselves be an eligible entity type.

Stream One applicants must also deliver services to participants in MM3-MM7 locations and/or operate service outlets with an approved or pending Specialisation Verification.

Stream Two applicants must either be an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Organisation meeting the stated incorporation, not-for-profit, Indigenous governance and community-connection requirements, or be an eligible not-for-profit or government organisation with valid Specialisation Verification for caring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander persons, at least 10 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Support at Home participants at each relevant verified outlet, and a supporting letter from a relevant local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Organisation.

Applicants must declare ongoing compliance with relevant aged care requirements, the Commonwealth Child Safe Framework, Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 and Multicultural Access and Equity Policy.
