Support for SA export businesses impacted by tariffs and global trade disruptions
A South Australian program providing grants to help SA exporters adapt to tariffs and global trade disruptions by funding external advice, supply‑chain restructuring and market diversification.
It supports businesses to become export ready for alternative markets and to leverage government programs and networks.
To be eligible to participate in the Program, the applicant must be exporting and have clear evidence of a direct and significant impact from trade disruptions in an identified market (e.g. cost increases, loss of competitiveness, reduced market share, supply chain disruptions) and demonstrate how these impacts threaten the ongoing viability of their exports, jobs, or investment in South Australia.
Applicants must also:
- have an active South Australian registered ABN or be able to demonstrate significant operations in South Australia
- be registered for GST
- can demonstrate export revenue in South Australia for 24 months or more from the date of the application
- produce the service or product primarily in South Australia under their own brand (this program is not for aggregators, traders or businesses who sell services or export on behalf of businesses)
- have met all previous Department of State Development grant obligations
Priority will be for businesses from the manufacturing, automotive/automotive parts and machinery sectors, and businesses with products embedded in global supply chains facing reduced competitiveness in an identified market.
