Funding for organisations in the resource recovery sector

Overview

Grants for Victorian organisations in the resource recovery sector to purchase, install and commission new or upgraded equipment (capital purchases only) to increase reprocessing/remanufacturing capacity, improve material quality for manufacturing and create jobs in the circular economy.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants:

  • an Australian business
  • a social enterprise (must be currently registered with Social Traders or prove accreditation before entering into a funding agreement)
  • a Victorian local government organisation
  • other not-for-profit organisations (ideally registered on the ACNC charity register)

Applicants must have a current ABN (if a Trust, the Trust as the trading entity must meet this requirement), have been operating in Australia for a minimum of 2 years by the application closing date (validated by ABN active from date), be able to demonstrate financial viability to undertake the project (and meet minimum co-contribution requirements), be able to meet the required co-contribution amount, agree to comply with the Terms of Participation and the General grant funding agreement, and submit a Fair Jobs Code Pre-Assessment Certificate Number with their application if applying for $500,000 (exclusive of GST).

Projects must be located in and service Victoria and source 50% or more of project feedstock from Victorian sources (exemptions considered).

Applicants may only submit one application per ABN and per facility (except councils may submit multiple applications for different sites).
