Mentorships for young or emerging Tasmanian Aboriginal artists

Provides mentorships to develop the capacity of young or emerging Tasmanian Aboriginal artists by pairing them with an established Tasmanian Aboriginal artist and/or Tasmanian arts organisation.

This program supports mentorships that develop the capacity of young or emerging Aboriginal artists. This scheme supports mentorships for young or emerging Tasmanian Aboriginal artists with an established Tasmanian Aboriginal artist and/or Tasmanian arts organisation. To be eligible, applicants must be a Tasmanian:

Aboriginal artist aged 25 years and under

Aboriginal artist in their first 5 years of artistic practice

arts organisation proposing to mentor a young Aboriginal artist.
