Funding for health and medical research infrastructure

Provides grants to establish and extend research infrastructure used to conduct world‑class health and medical research in areas of unmet medical need.

The opportunity is delivered through four streams targeting innovation enablers, digitisation of healthcare, co‑investment partnerships, and mRNA technology enablers.

Eligible organisations that can support innovative medical research projects to improve health benefits for Australians.

Applicants must specify the stream to which they are applying in their application.

An application may only be submitted to one of the above four streams only.

The initiative invests in research infrastructure to ensure Australian researchers find innovative solutions to complex health problems in areas of unmet medical need.
