Funding for events in Tasmania
Overview
The Event Attraction Fund TAS provides funding to secure mass participation events that deliver strong interstate visitation and substantial economic and social benefits for Tasmania, particularly during the shoulder and winter months.
Applications are for events held between March and November in 2025, 2026 or 2027.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- be registered for tax purposes with a continuously active Australian business number (ABN) on or before 30 June 2024
- hold public liability insurance or be able to obtain public liability insurance to the value of $20 million
- apply under Stage One at least 4 months prior to event commencement
- hold an event between March and November in either 2025, 2026 or 2027
- be able to contribute at least 60% of the overall event income budget
- and hold an event which is supported by Events Tasmania
