GO1814: Community Child Care Fund (CCCF) Special Circumstances Grant Opportunity Guidelines
The CCCF Special Circumstances Grant Opportunity is intended to support continuity of child care, in particular in disadvantaged or vulnerable communities, where service viability is affected by an unforeseen factor outside the control of the service such as: a natural disaster or weather event another unforeseen event or circumstance which would result in market failure for the community.
Funding provided under this grant opportunity is one-off and short-term.
To be eligible the potential grant recipient must be:
- a) the approved provider of an approved child care service under the A New Tax System (Family Assistance) (Administration) Act 1999
- AND b) operating in a disadvantaged or vulnerable community (or be the only suitable service supporting a vulnerable or disadvantaged sector)
- AND c) operating in an area of limited supply
- AND d) at risk of closure due to viability issues resulting from an unforeseen event or circumstance outside the control of the service (such as a natural disaster or other unforeseen factor which would result in market failure for the community)
Authorised staff may submit on behalf of the approved provider.
Applicants must provide evidence that their circumstances meet all applicable criteria and provide a detailed budget proposal.
