Funding for organisations to help build a sustainable future Defence Industry workforce

Provides grants to organisations to inform young Australians about pathways and careers in the defence industry and to encourage engagement in STEM.

Funding supports projects that provide industry career experiences, mentoring, networking and STEM activities, and can have national reach or target specific defence industry hubs.

Who is this for?

Companies, not-for-profit organisations and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporations.

The program will run over two years from 2024-25 to 2025-26.

Projects under the grant opportunity can have national reach or specifically target the workforce needs of one or more critical defence industry hubs (for example, the Hunter and Cairns regions).

All projects must be completed by 31 March 2026.
