Overview
Rebates for South Australian primary producers to implement on-farm infrastructure projects that help manage current drought conditions and improve preparedness for future droughts.
Eligible projects include water and livestock infrastructure, stock containment areas, adoption of drought management technologies and contractor labour to install or repair eligible infrastructure.
Eligibility Criteria
SA primary producers.
Eligible activities include:
- setting up or improving stock containment areas
- the purchase and installation or upgrading of efficient water systems for irrigation
- improving water infrastructure for livestock management
- the adoption of technologies for improved drought management
- the labour of an external contractor to install, and repair or replace infrastructure set out in the eligible activities
Two tiers of funding:
- Tier 1 — 75% rebate, grants of up to $5,000 (GST exclusive)
- Tier 2 — 50% rebate, grants of up to $20,000 (GST exclusive)
