Funding for innovative projects that support women's opportunities and outcomes in NSW
Overview
Funding for innovative projects that champion opportunities for women and girls in NSW across three pillars: economic opportunity and advancement, health and wellbeing, and participation and empowerment.
Grants support project delivery costs for activities delivered in NSW.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- be an Australian-based incorporated legal entity
- be one of the following: a not-for-profit organisation, a social enterprise, or a majority women-owned and managed small business
- have an active Australian Business Number (ABN)
- have appropriate public liability insurance (minimum of $10 million)
- address the NSW National Redress Scheme sanctions (included in these guidelines)
- have an account with an Australian Authorised deposit-taking institution
- not have outstanding acquittals with Women NSW
- not be receiving or have received government assistance from another program for the proposed project or a similar project
- include an applicant contribution (cash or in-kind) of a minimum 10 percent of the total project cost (not 10 percent of the amount of funding sought)
- provide a budget for their project
- be a single organisation that will accept responsibility for the delivery of the project if the application is successful
- and not be an ineligible applicant
Additional EOI/full application documentation requirements:
- at the EOI stage social enterprises must provide Social Traders certification or People and Planet First global verification
- women-owned NSW small businesses must provide a current ASIC company extract demonstrating CEO and majority officeholders are women and majority of shares are beneficially owned by women
- other documentation (public liability insurance copy, accountant declaration confirming aggregated turnover and FTE employees, project logic, evidence of need and prior experience) is required at the full grant application stage if shortlisted
