Grants to unlock opportunities and expand Australia's space sector
Grants to support Australian organisations to conduct joint space projects and build commercial links with the Indian Space Research Organisation and the broader Indian space sector.
Funding is available to cover eligible project costs for collaborative India-focused space projects.
To apply you must:
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be registered for GST
- and be either an entity incorporated in Australia or a publicly funded research organisation (PFRO)
You must provide evidence from your board (or CEO or equivalent if there is no board) that the project is supported and that you can complete the project and meet costs not covered by grant funding.
You must provide evidence that a minimum of 80% of the investment will be made in Australia for the benefit of Australian space organisations.
Your project must be aimed at the Project Focus Area described in Appendix A of the grant opportunity guidelines, have at least $1,000,000 in eligible expenditure, and be completed by 2027-12-31.
The lead organisation must complete the application form and, if successful, sign the grant agreement and be responsible for ensuring compliance with the grant agreement.
