GO8234: Building Early Education Fund – Large-Scale Grant Opportunity
The purpose of the Building Fund Large-Scale grant opportunity is to provide capital grants to build and/or expand multiple new services in areas of need.
The grant opportunity will enable successful providers with 10 or more centre based day care (CBDC) services to expand service delivery in areas where there is undersupply of child care.
Applicants must be not-for-profit organisations for the duration of the Agreement.
Grants are targeted to quality not-for-profit ECEC providers, state and local governments and schools and to priority/underserved markets (including regional locations and outer suburbs).
The Grantee must maintain provider approval under the National Law to deliver ECEC services and provider approval under the Family Assistance Law to administer Child Care Subsidy for the duration of the Agreement and must have service approval enabling the Designated Use prior to the Agreement End Date.
The Grantee must continue to meet eligibility obligations relating to the National Redress Scheme.
The Grantee must provide an approved Activity Work Plan and Budget, required project documentation and Milestone deliverables (e.g. development and building approvals, plans/drawings, floor/site plans, quotes/invoices, asset details) and comply with reporting, insurance, securities and other contractual requirements set out in the Agreement.
