Rebates to unlock large scale subdivision work on King Island

This program provides rebates to assist developers to bring new residential land to market on King Island, Tasmania.

Rebates are available to help cover costs such as labour, materials, freight, road infrastructure and utility connections.

Applicants can elect to be paid in instalments and must meet specified cost and timing requirements.

Applicants must be the owner(s) of the land which is the subject of the application, and their name must be on the title.

Applicants must have already incurred and paid in full at least $5,000 of eligible costs per lot at the time of application.

Rebates can be claimed for a maximum of 12 lots per developer.

Claimed lots must be brought to market within 18 months of the date the grant funding agreement is signed.
