Funding for small-to-medium sized manufacturers to transition from fossil fuel powered processes

The SME Industrial Decarbonisation Fund provides funding to small-to-medium Australian manufacturers to transition fossil fuel-powered processes to electric alternatives.

It supports renewable energy solutions, including electrification, in surface treatment, process steam and metals processing.

To be eligible, legal business entities must be a small-to-medium manufacturing enterprise with up to 200 employees; have an Australian company number (ACN) and an Australian business number (ABN); be non-tax-exempt and registered for goods and services tax (GST); and be an entity incorporated in Australia.
