Funding to develop methane abatement technologies in the resources sector for coal and gas

Provides funding for Australian publicly funded research organisations, universities and non-profit research organisations to undertake development, prototype verification and validation, and demonstration level projects of methane abatement technologies related to the coal and gas industries.

Supports projects that increase Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and accelerate deployment of abatement technologies to reduce methane emissions.
