Funding for WA based companies in the mining equipment, technology and services (METS) sector
Overview
Matched funding to help Western Australian METS companies develop products and services in specified focus areas including net zero emission mining, critical minerals, green steel, exploration amplification, alternative use of tailings and waste, and precision and low impact mining.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, businesses must:
- provide mining equipment, technology or services to the mining sector
- be based in Western Australia
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- have an annual turnover of less than $50 million per annum
- be a company incorporated in Australia or an incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust
Eligible projects must meet the definition of minerals research as outlined in the grant guidelines.
