Electric vehicle registration fee exemption for South Australian businesses, organisations and individuals

A South Australian government program that provides a three-year registration fee exemption for new battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

The exemption applies to vehicles first registered from 2021-10-28 up to 2025-06-30, with no limit on the number of eligible vehicles during that period, subject to eligibility criteria.

The 3-year registration fee exemption applies to new battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles first registered from 2021-10-28 up to 2025-06-30.

There is no limit on the number of new battery electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles that can receive relief during the eligible time period, subject to the eligibility criteria being met.
