Funding for Tasmanian employers to improve literacy and numeracy in their workplace
Overview
Provides funding to Tasmanian employers, organisations and peak bodies to improve workers' language, literacy and numeracy (reading, writing, maths, speaking and listening) skills.
There are two streams: Get Ready Grants to prepare organisations for a larger workplace project, and Workplace Grants to run projects that improve workforce literacy and numeracy.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications will be accepted from:
- an organisation or sole trader
- a private or not-for-profit organisation
- local councils and council-owned businesses
- eligible government entities
- private registered training organisations and independent schools, applying in respect of their non-teaching workforce only
All applicants must operate in Tasmania, and employ workers on a paid or unpaid basis.
