Funding for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and art workers
Provides funding to support professional development for individual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and arts workers in South Australia, enabling skills development and training relevant to their arts or professional practice.
Funding can support activities such as mentoring, short courses, residencies, conferences, work placements, and associated travel and living costs.
To be eligible, you must:
- be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- be a professional practising artist or arts worker/cultural worker
- live in South Australia 6 months or more per year
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists (individuals) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts and cultural workers (individuals) can apply.
Arts and cultural organisations and Aboriginal arts centres may submit and/or auspice grants on behalf of individual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and arts and cultural workers.
