Funding for VIC small and medium-sized freight operators to shift to low emissions vehicles
Grants to help small and medium Victorian land freight operators transition to low- and zero-emission freight vehicles and supporting technologies, including vehicle purchase/lease, fit-outs/retrofits, charging or refuelling infrastructure, and trials of low‑carbon fuels and innovations.
To be eligible applicants must:
- be a small to medium land freight transport operator involved in the movement of goods by road or rail (using trucks, trains or other specialised vehicles)
- hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) that has been held since 30 June 2022
- employ 200 or fewer full-time equivalent employees
- be registered and operating in Victoria
- be financially viable and not insolvent, with no directors who are undischarged bankrupts
The EOI will request ABN (and if applicable ACN or IAN), confirmation of a WorkSafe Certificate of Currency (if applicable), confirmation of ability to provide 3 years of audited financial statements, and business/project details (employee numbers, number of freight vehicles, annual turnover, project outline, timeline, funding request).
