Funding to install, own, operate and maintain kerbside EV charging infrastructure in NSW
The Electric Vehicle Kerbside Charging Grants NSW provides co-funding for eligible charge point operators to install public EV charging infrastructure on kerbside power poles and verges, and in council and commercial carparks.
Round 3 makes $5 million available for installations in 37 priority local government areas in NSW, supporting drivers with limited or no access to off-street charging.
Funding is open to charge point operators (CPOs) that are either an entity incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), or a state-owned corporation or subsidiary of a corporation owned by an Australian state or territory.
Applicants must hold a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) for their organisation and hold $20 million public liability insurance and workers compensation insurance.
