Funding to establish hydrogen hubs in regional Australia

Grants to support the development and implementation of clean hydrogen industrial hubs in regional Australia.

Funding is for hydrogen-industry led consortia to establish production, storage, trials, demonstrations and related industrial infrastructure that activate domestic and export hydrogen supply chains.

To be eligible you must have an Australian business number (ABN).

You must be an entity incorporated in Australia, or an Australian State/Territory Government agency or body.

Your application must be a joint application with at least one project partner and must have a lead organisation that is eligible to apply; the lead organisation will manage the project on behalf of the consortium.

You must certify that your board supports the project (or the CEO/equivalent if there is no board), that you can complete the project and meet costs not covered by grant funding, and that you agree to publicly share knowledge and information about and resulting from your project.

You must comply with Australian Industry Participation requirements in accordance with the AIP Plan User Guide.

For implementation grants, in-kind contributions cannot be included for the purposes of grantee contributions.

Projects must meet the program requirements described in the program guidelines (including eligible activities listed in section 5.1).
