Funding for early stage startups aligned with strategic priorities

ARENA's Launchpad Program provides funding through two rounds for early-stage startups and ecosystem partners aligned with ARENA's strategic priorities.

The Startup Funding Round supports technology development, business-plan acceleration and momentum toward investment and commercial deployment, while the Ecosystem Funding Round supports multi-year programs delivered by organisations such as accelerators and incubators.

Startup Funding Round applicants must hold a valid Australian business number (ABN); be an Australian incorporated entity, including an Australian subsidiary of an international entity that can demonstrate a presence and commitment to operating and commercialising its technology or solution in Australia; be a for-profit entity; warrant that they are the owner or developer of the related technology, product or solution and have freedom to operate regarding any IP or assets involved; and demonstrate that they are undertaking eligible activities.

Ecosystem Funding Round applicants must, at the time of applying, hold an ABN; be an Australian entity incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), a State or Federal Government Statutory Corporation, an Australian university or research institution, a registered Australian not-for-profit, a charity organisation, or an Australian industry association; and demonstrate that they are undertaking eligible activities.
